Investigate Trump and Lutnick Family Conflicts of Interest in Federal Mining and Defense Contracts

Two corruption scandals broke within 24 hours of each other, and I want to know what you're doing about them. The Trump family acquired a 20% stake in a Kazakhstan mining project shortly after American company Kaz Resources received $1.6 billion in federal financing. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's sons raised capital for one of the same project's investors, expected to net them millions. The Trump and Lutnick families now have ties to at least 14 companies doing business with the federal government on mining deals.
That's not all. Trump bought up to $5 million in Axon Enterprise stock just two weeks before ICE sought a $220 million sole-source contract that only Axon could fill. Axon makes 90% of all U.S. Tasers. This isn't a gray area — it's a sitting president personally profiting from a contract his own administration awarded.
Congress needs to open a formal investigation into both deals immediately. The White House's claim that Trump's investments are managed independently doesn't hold up when the timing is this precise. Your constituents are watching to see whether oversight still means anything.
