There is reporting that Senator Schumer is proposing that Congressional Democrats agree to placing minor restrictions on ICE and CBP rather than defunding them altogether in exchange for their votes on the budget. ICE and CBP have murdered two citizens in broad daylight and are responsible for the deaths of dozens of immigrants in detention centers. ICE is kidnapping five year olds and using them as bait. ICE and CBP have become rogue death squads used by the current administration to punish and assault the American people. And Democratic leadership is talking about minor restrictions??? For the agencies kidnapping and murdering people in our streets??? And imprisoning immigrants indefinitely in concentration camps??? Congressional Democrats want to continue funding the government that is killing its own people??? The absolute bare minimum demand from Congressional Democrats should be abolishing ICE before they murder again. The moral and just demand should be to defund and abolish the entirety of DHS and trials for every single agent involved in the murder, kidnappings, and deaths of American citizens and residents.
