Immediate Legislative Action to Preserve Evidence at Zorro Ranch

To: Rep. Elfreth, Sen. Alsobrooks, Sen. Van Hollen

From: A constituent in Arnold, MD

February 16

I am writing to urge you to introduce emergency legislation that would immediately preserve evidence at Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch property in New Mexico and prevent any tampering or destruction of potential evidence related to his criminal activities. There is growing concern among constituents that evidence at this property may be at risk of destruction or concealment. The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated, as any delay could result in the permanent loss of critical evidence that could bring justice to victims and expose the full scope of Epstein's criminal network. I am specifically requesting legislation that would mandate immediate measures including comprehensive surveillance of the property to document any excavation or digging activities, warrants for thorough searches of all structures and grounds at Zorro Ranch, and legal protections to prevent current property owners from altering the site in any way until a complete investigation is conducted. The legislation should also establish penalties for evidence tampering and require coordination between federal and state law enforcement agencies to ensure proper chain of custody for any evidence discovered. New Mexico state legislators are already pursuing investigations into this matter, demonstrating bipartisan concern about accountability and justice. Your constituents deserve to know that their representatives are taking every possible step to ensure that evidence related to serious crimes is preserved and that those responsible are held accountable. The Epstein case has revealed systemic failures in our justice system. We have an opportunity now to demonstrate that no one is above the law and that evidence preservation is paramount to achieving justice for victims. I urge you to act immediately to introduce this legislation before any further evidence is compromised or destroyed. Will you commit to introducing emergency legislation to preserve evidence at Zorro Ranch within the next week?
