Donald Trump does not get to walk this back. His administration killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good, both U.S. citizens with no criminal records, both in Minneapolis, both in January 2026. Video contradicts the government’s story in both cases. Secretary Noem claimed Pretti wanted to “massacre law enforcement.” Stephen Miller called him a “domestic terrorist” and a “would-be assassin.” These were not mistakes. They were lies told to justify the killing of an American nurse who was restrained on the ground when agents shot him. Since January 20, 2025, immigration agents have shot 28 people, killing 8. At least 5 were U.S. citizens. The Wall Street Journal documented 13 instances of agents firing into civilian vehicles since July 2025. Thirty-one people died in ICE detention last year, the highest number since 2004. Six more have died in custody in the first 25 days of 2026.
I am demanding that you take every action the law permits. Introduce articles of impeachment against Secretary Noem for knowingly spreading false statements to justify the killing of American citizens. Subpoena all video, communications, and directives related to the Minneapolis operations. Refer Stephen Miller and Kaelan Dorr to the Department of Justice for investigation into whether their public statements constitute obstruction or witness tampering. Call for a special counsel to investigate the pattern of shootings and the administration’s systematic lies. Trump’s belated softening of tone changes nothing. He built this machine. He staffed it with people who call dead nurses terrorists. He must be held accountable, and so must everyone who lied on his behalf.
