Threatening the lives of our state legislators is unequivocally unacceptable. Your words and actions toward the Democrats who broke quorum during your orchestrated special session have caused real harm. I refuse to tolerate the political schemes you’ve adopted—schemes driven by allegiance to Trump rather than a genuine concern for the people of Texas, as you once claimed. I am determined to work tirelessly to ensure you are voted out of office in the next election. I am deeply disappointed in this state’s current legislative crisis, where Republicans pursue personal loyalty over public service, while Democrats courageously risk their lives to serve the people.
