Support a constitutional amendment to limit the power of money in elections. Wealthy donors and corporate interests have captured too many politicians who are supposed to represent ordinary people, and the only fix that actually sticks is changing the Constitution to restore Congress's and states' authority to set reasonable limits on campaign spending. This isn't a fringe idea. Twenty-five states have already officially called for this amendment, and support is growing on both sides of the aisle. With the nation approaching its 250th anniversary, it's worth asking whether we still have a government of, by, and for the people — or one of, by, and for the highest bidder. Back this amendment and help restore the trust that democracy depends on.
