I am writing because your silence and inaction while Donald Trump continues to drag this country into chaos is unacceptable. You were elected to represent your constituents and defend the interests of the American people, yet it appears you are more interested in protecting a political figure than protecting the country you swore to serve. Why are you allowing this to continue? Why are you standing by while our institutions, alliances, and democratic norms are undermined? Do you actually believe this is what the people in your district want? Because many of us are watching in disbelief as our representatives refuse to show even the basic courage required to stand up for the country. The American people do not want another reckless or pointless war. We do not want our country destabilized by political loyalty tests, conspiracy-driven governance, or leaders who care more about party power than the wellbeing of their constituents. Your job is not to enable this behavior. Your job is to represent us, protect our interests, and act with integrity. Right now, it looks like you are failing to do that. If you continue to ignore the will and concerns of the people you represent, voters will remember. The next election will come, and many of us will be asking a simple question: why should we re-elect someone who refused to stand up when it mattered most? It is time to show leadership. Do your job and start standing up for the American people.
