Continue discussing and funding solutions for ongoing Covid pandemic

I’m in great support of you and your campaign and you’ve got my vote. One thing missing from the conversation is Covid and ongoing other threats of pandemic disease. Your admin did a great job of quickly rolling out vaccines, but clearly that wasn’t enough. Thousands are still dying, infection rates are sky high, vaccine uptake is low, new vaccines aren’t yet available, barely a mask in sight, CDC creating policy based on economics and not science, no clean air initiatives, HVAC improvements, HEPA filters, of far UVC light in schools and public buildings to clean the air.
We have known for several years now that COVID weakens and dysregulates our immune system and targets our T Cells. This is similar to how AIDS destroys immune systems. Millions are suffering from Long Covid and there is little treatment or aid available to help these people. We know each subsequent COVID infection increases ones chances of developing long covid. Our own health authorities aren’t promoting masking when it’s the cheapest, easiest, and most effective mitigation tool we have. It’s barely mentioned if it is mentioned at all.
All of this is unacceptable. We’re 4 years into a pandemic with no end in sight. Instead of continuing to update the public, encourage or require masks on transport and healthcare, funding tests, masks, reporting, and vaccines, the government, CDC, and media are downplaying and ignoring what’s going on. In turn, people are sick all year, are getting sicker for longer, and we’re seeing a resurgence of polio, TB, measles, Pertussis, and more making big comebacks. Were also threatened with Avian Flu and this more severe new strain of Mpox.
How is this good for our future, health, and the economy in the long run? Stop ignoring this and please do something about this. Thank you.
