Americans against genocide

To: Pres. Biden

From: A constituent in Malone, NY

May 30

Halting military actions and pursuing diplomatic means to resolve conflicts is crucial. No child should endure the devastating impacts of war. The ongoing violence in Gaza has displaced countless families and disrupted essential services, leaving children susceptible to malnutrition, traumatic stress, and lack of access to healthcare and education. Continued Israeli operations exacerbate an already dire humanitarian crisis. As a nation committed to human rights, we cannot condone actions that inflict harm on innocent civilians, especially the most vulnerable. I urge immediate steps towards a ceasefire to allow vital aid to reach those in need and prevent further loss of innocent lives. Comprehensive diplomatic efforts involving all stakeholders must be prioritized to achieve a just and lasting resolution safeguarding the wellbeing of all children in the region.
