Choosing to dismantle America’s Dept of Education is akin to a new leader in France ordering his staff to take sledgehammers to Notre Dame. The Department of Education represents the best of our national ambitions, and the best possible investment of our tax dollars. As a teacher of two decades, I assure you that my neighbor and I did not vote for this. Please stop this travesty.
