I am alarmed by the surge in dismissals within our government. According to Reuters, the campaign led by Unelected President Elon Musk has resulted in nearly 10,000 terminations, affecting areas like federal lands and veterans' care. This issue goes beyond the numbers. They fired-rehired the guys who watch our NUKES! These thoughtless actions by thoughtless White House residents are causing serious harm, especially to the most vulnerable—those already struggling economically—which includes MAGA voters. Thousands have been left without income and services, worsening the hardships faced by many Americans. In a democracy, the interests of a few wealthy individuals should not dictate policies that affect everyone. Yet, we are witnessing a coup and the rise of a tech oligarchy, with Musk wielding immense power without election. This shift is dangerous and threatens the foundation of our democracy. I urge you to address this issue and inform the public about the harm these actions are causing. Here is a 3-step plan: Accumulate information on grants/ monies appropriated to ALL congressional districts that Musk has disrupted for this year—especially the GOP ones. Push these GOP members of congress to sign a bill that forces that money to be spent as it was originally designated. If Musk & Trump don’t spend the money, they have broken another law. They cannot make the excuse that no one is left to manage these programs. We also must use every platform—from press to social media to television—to show how this affects Americans across all demographics. Even those who voted for him. Our 248-year-old democratic experiment is too important to jeopardize. We must work across the aisle to protect our shared values and democracy. Please take swift action. It is our responsibility to ensure the interests of all Americans, not just a select few, are prioritized. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address this matter.
