I work for the federal government and am often on TDY during the work week away from my home community. For this reason the “no excuse mail-in voting” concept within the SAVE America Act is old people thinking that is completely disconnected from the modern average laborer.
I understand the President is 80. He’s old and attempts to lead with 1960s business thought and leadership methods that have proven to be less effective than real servant leadership, but the fact that you, who are connected to the people, could back an act that harms average American workers and veterans is ridiculous.
The Republican Party has been completely infected with elderly thinking. Thinking that doesn’t incorporate modern mobile, remote and TDY work. At a minimum if you’re going to require mass voting restrictions, make election days national holidays.
Your actions signal if all Americans vote Republicans lose. Amazing how that works.
