Please restore cuts to the National Institute of Health and the National Science Foundation. The cuts to these critical organizations, in their quest to eliminate cancer and find cures to other diseases, is literally debilitating to many Americans. As a widower who lost my own wife to cancer, the mission of these institutions is personal and I don’t want others to experience my loss. In addition to this, these institutions are economic drivers. Every dollar spent by the NIH generates $2.49 for the economy. They MAKE money for the United States. Please restore funds to these Institutions as soon as you are able.
