I am writing again to urge you to reconsider your push for school vouchers. As a teacher-of-the-year of a national Blue Ribbon school here in Tennessee, I know what it takes to nurture all learners and help them succeed. This brazen attempt to defund public schools and give discounts to affluent families is shameful. Sending money to religious schools is unconstitutional. The most disrespectful part is you know better and many constituents see right through the charade. Display an ounce of integrity and uphold your oath the the people of Tennessee.
