Invoke the 25th Amendment to Remove President Trump from Office

March 7
I am writing to urge you to support invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office. His conduct of military operations from Mar-a-Lago demonstrates a pattern of behavior that raises serious questions about his fitness to serve as Commander in Chief.
Trump has directed six major military actions from his private resort during his second term, including Operation Epic Fury last weekend, which involved B-2 bomber strikes on Iranian targets and operations that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. While Vice President JD Vance was positioned in the White House Situation Room with Cabinet members, Trump announced the massive military operation from Mar-a-Lago's press room before attending a Republican fundraiser the same evening. This approach to presidential decision-making prioritizes personal convenience over national security protocols.
The security vulnerabilities at Mar-a-Lago are well-documented. ProPublica reported in 2017 that the estate's Wi-Fi networks were vulnerable to intrusion. In 2019, a Chinese woman was arrested attempting to enter with malicious software. Despite these incidents, Trump continues conducting sensitive military operations from a facility where initial memberships cost $1 million and which serves as a hub for GOP politics and social events. Four world leaders have visited since December, blurring the lines between official state business and private commercial interests.
Former National Security Adviser John Bolton has stated that the president should conduct such operations from the White House, noting that the B-team was clearly in the Situation Room during the Iran operation. Palm Beach officials announced indefinite road closures around Mar-a-Lago this week as tensions escalate over U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran, effectively disrupting a community to accommodate Trump's preference for conducting presidential business from his private club.
The 25th Amendment exists precisely for situations where a president's judgment and decision-making raise fundamental concerns about their ability to discharge the duties of office. I urge you to act now to protect our national security and restore proper presidential conduct.
