I am writing to say that I fully agree with the 10 point list of ICE related demands along with the goodwill recommendations to fire Kristi Noem and fully ramp down the surge in Minnesota that Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries have issued to the republicans. Please hang tight in pushing for these safeguards as a minimum. Ideally, ICE should not receive anymore funds and these requirements should be made more permanent in separate legislation (rather than in a funding bill which expires). I realize, however, that a separate bill would be much less likely to pass. But to reiterate, I applaud the current demands and strongly encourage you to not let the republicans remove any of them. Thank you for your continued hard work and determination to fight for our basic constitutional rights in this matter. It is critical that these demands be agreed to.
