"With adverse drug events estimated to cause over 100,000 to 250,000 deaths per year, we cannot keep masking chronic disease with pills." @metaAi ; national numbers researchers use: The big-picture estimate: Adverse drug reactions to properly prescribed prescription and over-the-counter drugs are estimated to kill more than 100,000 Americans a year - often cited as the 4th leading cause of death behind heart disease, cancer, and stroke. When you include medication errors, injuries and side effects together (what's called Adverse Drug Events or ADEs), advocacy groups tracking National Adverse Drug Event Awareness Day put it at more than 250,000 deaths each year in the US, which would make it the 3rd leading cause if it was coded as one category. Breakdown often cited in medical literature: 7,000 deaths from medication errors in hospitals per year 106,000 Americans die needlessly from ADR or med error each year, accounting for 10-20% of all hospital admissions An older JAMA-tracked estimate still widely quoted: 2.2 million serious reactions to medication and 128,000 deaths from properly prescribed drugs This is exactly why 60-70% of Americans are on a prescription ! millions exposed to that risk while the root cause never gets cured. Speed up the nation’s efforts to cure not mask! Happy holloweening day everyone who has been exposed to the vaccine that causes these issues to spread too! Shall I give you data on that too! The masquerade is over
