I am writing to you today to insist you stop your fear mongering. Trying to legislate 3d printers to stop an imaginary ghost gun problem has got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Firearms can be made out of any number of readily available things. Are you going to pass laws against power tools and metal next? How about a law to regulate lengths of pipe at hardware stores? The reality of what you're proposing is people in New York won't be able to buy 3d printers anymore. Stop it. Your hysterical nonsense should be directed at protecting the state from Donald Trump and the most fascist administration ever. Leave 3d printing alone.
