Do NOT support Jeffries

To: Rep. Courtney

From: A verified voter in Ashford, CT

November 5

I am a voting constituent and resident in Ashford, CT. Congratulations on your reelection. I demand that you withhold support from Hakeem Jeffries for House Speaker. He has not shown the leadership over the last two years to lead the House in correcting course after the mandate presented by the midterm elections. He said that we do not want to get even, that we want low prices. If you think that the red wipeout was just about the economy, you have missed the point and you will not last. I demand that you represent those who elected you and that you lead us to restore our democracy. That starts with choosing effective leadership.
