I want to see Congress restore full funding to the CDC Food Safety Program. The moronic cuts that were made to government services and capability last year by the administration have now left Americans exposed to both cyclospora and screw-worm. The money was instead spent on things like the so-called Great American State Fair, Trump's urge to remake Washington DC in his own image, and the destruction of the Reflecting Pool, none of which did a damn thing for public well-being. We should not have to worry about whether the food in our markets is safe to eat. Stop allowing this administration to corruptly and wastefully divert our taxpayer dollars from the programs that actually keep us safe. Congress has the power of the purse. Reclaim your control!
