I need you to vote no on the omnibus with DHS funding, or at least to insist that DHS funding be stripped out. ICE murdered a man in cold blood in Minneapolis this morning. This is beyond an outrage. This is beyond unacceptable. It always has been, but this is a crisis and as my Senator, I need you to act in defense of the American people and the American way of life. We are guaranteed the right to peaceful protest! Are you going to sit by as the fundamental rights of Americans, which are supposed to be guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, are stripped away? This is un-American, and YOU have the power to stop it. If you have any conscience at all, I am calling on you to act. You must, if you have any moral courage or conscience or empathy whatsoever.
