I am enraged that you not only supported the budget bill, but are lying through your teeth to the media about how good it is for Alaskans. Your duplicity to your constituents has bypassed one of the most important provisions of the bill: the slaughtering of our judicial system. Removing the checks and balances associated with contempt of court, and restricting it only to those who can pay, eliminates the third branch. I am curious to know whether your backdoor conversations actually identified that Trump is the person that those payments are made to? Or is that one of your perks? I've been watching for months as you abandoned your responsibilities and your oath to the Constitution again and again in service of fealty to Trump. With your enthusiastic support, Congress has given up its role in governing. You are simply one of the rubber stamps. Now Congress is attempting to take away the rights of the judiciary. We all know what this means for the executive branch (the royal branch? the only branch?) and it's about time you stood up and spoke the truth. Of course we know that you won't and can't. But not all of your constituents are as stupid or gullible as the base you cultivate. There is a bleak future ahead of us if this succeeds, but I assure you, your position in it will not be a comfortable one. No matter how much you sneer at us, Alaskans are going to make sure of that.
