It is clear that no one in the administration understands even the most basic economics. (Or diplomacy or common sense.). This is not the 19th century. (Now we know how the president had six bankruptcies.) In the last two days, the market has lost over $6 TRILLION—equivalent to the entire federal budget—and it is taking a further dive today. There may be a long way to the bottom. A global recession is a near certainty. All that imaginary income you were expecting so you can give further tax breaks to predatory billionaires? No gonna happen. This is YOUR fault. You continue to support the idiots who are causing this mess. 1. Take back the power of the president to impose tariffs, and revoke these tariffs 2. Do not vote for any budget that gives further tax breaks to the wealthy. 3. Do not support any dismantling of the social safety net — the poor, old, and indigent will need it more than ever. That also means getting DOGE and Musk OUT! Represent your constituents and honor your oath of office. Grow a spine. Stop being a rubber stamp for destruction, and DO YOUR JOB!
