Fort Bragg (But Not That Bragg)

To: Sen. Boozman, Sen. Cotton, Rep. Hill

From: A constituent in North Little Rock, AR

July 24

I'm gonna be honest, I clearly have not been paying enough attention. I just found out that in 2022, changing Fort Bragg's name to Fort Liberty, to the tune of $6.3 million, approved by the Senate's newly established naming committee. Then, earlier this year, it was changed back to Fort Bragg, but a different Bragg, for another $6 million. And y'all are worried about social services and foreign aid? Are you kidding me?! As a citizen, I'm embarrassed and appalled that my elected representatives are supporting the horrendous outcomes of Trump's budget bill but sitting by while we spend $12 million on changing the name of a fort and then changing it right back in under five years. Seriously. Get your priorities straight.
