I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the confirmation of Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to a permanent position. We need an Attorney General who believes that the rule of law applies to everyone equally, without creating special escape hatches for the powerful.  Mr. Blanche recently took the extreme step of sending an official letter to the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), stating that the US Department of Justice completely rejects any global authority over Americans. This aggressive move is deeply concerning for three major reasons:  - It signals that the powerful are above the law: By completely blocking international oversight, Mr. Blanche is telling the world that American officials and insiders should have total immunity from global accountability, no matter what actions they take.  - It damages our relationships with global allies: Rejecting international courts undermines decades of teamwork with our global partners who rely on these systems to punish war crimes, combat human trafficking, and defend basic human rights.  - It mirrors a pattern of shielding political insiders: This aggressive rejection of global law enforcement perfectly matches Mr. Blanche's behavior at home, where he has consistently tried to use the Department of Justice to shield a single political family from basic legal scrutiny.  A true Attorney General must respect fairness and legal accountability both at home and abroad. Todd Blanche's actions prove he will use the power of the state to shield the elite from the consequences of their actions. Please stand up for equal justice and vote NO on Todd Blanche.
