The LAPD chief thinks he will not enforce state law mask bans for law enforcement? I think my state legislators had better not be treating this as normal or acceptable to make nice. If LAPD does not protect Angelenos they are not legitimate. And if Chief McDonnell disagrees and thinks his highest priority is making nice with ICE, he should be corrected of that notion loudly and publicly. I will be looking for your leadership. Thank you for your actions and efforts supporting our democracy.
