I am writing to express my profound disapproval of the blatant corruption surrounding the new Qatari-gifted Air Force One. Accepting a luxury jumbo jet from a foreign government—while sticking the American taxpayer with an exorbitant bill to retrofit an insecure aircraft—is an unacceptable breach of ethics.
To make matters worse, funneling billions into upgrading this "free" jet only for it to eventually become Trump's personal property after his presidency is a staggering violation of the Emoluments Clause and basic constitutional norms.
It is entirely corrupt to prioritize personal enrichment and post-presidency luxury over national security and the public trust. Bending public office for foreign gifts sets a dangerous precedent, and the public deserves full accountability for this brazen transaction.
