I am horrified and ashamed that the U.S. voted against the UN Resolution condemning Russian aggression against Ukraine. America does NOT stand with despots and murderous dictators! In siding with Russia along with N Korea and other Putin friends, the U.S. embarrasses, shames, and demeans itself. We have also lost the trust of European allies, an 80-year alliance now trashed. Trump’s demands for 50% of Ukraine’s minerals in return for arms and assistance sounds like a mafioso threat instead of world leadership. The U.S. once stood fast against Russia because it understood the real threat it presents to the Continent and rest of the world. My father was sent to face that threat in Germany when the Berlin Wall went up and throughout his 30-year Army career. Generations of good people on both continents stood up against the likes of Putin, and in 5 weeks the U.S. president has reduced their service and bravery to ash. Americans do NOT support a president siding with RUSSIA EVER!
