The actions being taken by DOGE are overreaching, extreme and are having detrimental effects on our American citizens, families, infrastructure, medical research, economy, and are not well thought out. This is hurting - and will continue to hurt - America as we know it. Coming for medical research, federal workers who maintain relationships with our foreign partners, closing national parks because they can’t be manned, reducing staff so that research libraries can’t be open (Kennedy library, for example). This is too much. When will you stop. When will you realize how this is hurting America and who we are? I’m also extremely concerned about the DEI rollbacks, gun control, cutting funding to the NIH, the dept of education and so much more. This is exhausting, hurting our mental health, our country and if this continues, what of america will be left? Who do you think will want to reelect you when our country is in shambles. Please, stop and take time to realize the negative impacts you’re having. This isn’t the legacy you want to leave. You’re hurting Missourians - and America.
