What is gained by attacking transgender people? What is honestly gained for any American by the persecution of a small minority of people? Often, these are presented as protecting women in sports, but we know that's not true; study after study shows that trans women don't have any advantage over cis women in sport, that variations in testosterone are natural... that any claimed scientific basis for these bans is non-existent. But, still, there's attempts to ban trans people from public life. To what end? Who does it help, who does it serve? Vote against the nonsense bills that are coming. Do not persecute trans people just because you believe it will help your standing. As Jesus said, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
