Trump now “owns” the partial shutdown. People in TSA (ICE?) lines for hours can now blame him for continuing the shutdown. The Senate was close to reaching an agreement to fund the TSA, FEMA and other essential parts of DHS (except ICE). Donald trumpeted no deal with the Democrats until the SAVE Act is passed. That is a non-starter as that would make it extremely difficult for many voters(predominantly Democrats) to vote, especially with no vote by mail to cast their ballots. Travelers, make sure you let Trump know he now owns the shutdown.
