Dear Senator, I understand that you recently voted against the resolution presented by Sen. Bernie Sanders to block further military aid to Israel, which is being used to further the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Knowing that you accept campaign donations from AIPAC, this is disappointing, but not surprising. That being said, I strongly urge you to divest any involvement from AIPAC and support resolutions towards ensuring a lasting peace between Israel and Palestine via a two state solution. Anything less than that will only ensure that armed conflicts and the bloodshed of innocents will continue.
