After the election this week, young girls have come home from school and told their parents that boys are taunting them with the phrase "Your body, MY choice." This statement asserts dominance, implies violence, and is meant to intimidate. This attitude does not represent the democratic values of our constitution. I am sure you would not dismiss it if a young man said it to your daughter. If you believe in the importance of mental health and protecting children, please publicly condemn this behavior and encourage parents to get involved. Condemn this incel-driven bullying before it goes too far.
