Fix the road to Hoh Rainforest and rehire all National Parks staff

To: Sen. Ernst, Rep. Miller-Meeks, Sen. Grassley, Pres. Trump

From: A verified voter in Bettendorf, IA

March 11

The closure of the Hoh Rain Forest road in Olympic National Park is concerning for both ecological preservation and the local tourism economy. This unique temperate rainforest is one of the park's crown jewels, attracting visitors from around the world. Adequate staffing and resources are imperative to responsibly manage human impacts and protect this invaluable natural wonder for future generations. Restoring funding would enable the National Park Service to hire back essential personnel and continue its vital custodianship of America's national parks. These public lands belong to all citizens and must be properly maintained for their intended purposes of conservation, education, and responsible recreation. Investing in our parks safeguards irreplaceable ecosystems while boosting local communities through sustainable tourism.
