Just read about HR 2616, a ridiculous bill that seems to be about stopping kids from being able to read books by or about trans people. Trans people are people. Some of these kids may want to know more about trans people that may be a part of their own lives, or just better understand the world around them. Banning the books is part of the larger conservative plan to make being a trans person in America as impossible and painful as they can make it. I want you as my senator to do what you can to prevent this vicious nonsense.
