This shutdown is already harming everyday Americans—especially the people keeping our airports safe. The growing strain on TSA and air traffic workers is putting travelers at risk and eroding public confidence. Ending the shutdown without new ACA subsidies would make all this pain meaningless. A separate vote later isn’t good enough. If people have suffered through this crisis, it should at least lead to something that makes their lives better—affordable healthcare, not another empty deal.
