Stop the Lies – Pass a Budget and Put Americans First

Why are you letting this administration lie to the American people about the government shutdown? The truth is clear: this administration never fixed the healthcare system like it promised, and now it’s refusing to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies that keep millions of Americans’ healthcare premiums from doubling or even tripling. Do you honestly think Americans don’t notice when their representatives fight harder to send billions to foreign countries like Israel and Argentina than to do the bare minimum for their own constituents? What does that say about the Republican Party’s priorities?
Meanwhile, this administration is openly posting political propaganda on government websites, blaming Democrats for the shutdown. Do you really believe the American people are that stupid? That is a blatant violation of the Hatch Act, yet you and your colleagues refuse to condemn it. Even more disturbing is the Speaker of the House refusing to swear in the newly elected Congresswoman from Arizona. That is not only a disgrace—it is a direct attempt to subvert democracy for political gain.
Military families are now struggling without a paycheck while Congress continues to receive theirs. Enough is enough. Pass a budget. Stop playing political games with people’s livelihoods. Everyone knows it’s Republicans holding this government hostage. You can try to twist the narrative all you want, but the American people see through it.
Do your job. Represent your constituents. Put America first.
