I'm writing to urge you to vote NO on the SAVE America Act. Without a plan to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote is able to obtain the necessary proof of citizenship by November, ramming this through before the midterms amounts to voter suppression. This is a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. We just went through the whole REAL ID debacle here in PA and I can only imagine how much worse trying to get everyone a passport in time would be. And unlike REAL ID where you can still pay to be able to fly without it, people who don't have the right ID in time would be deprived of their rights as citizens without recourse. This bill would create more problems than it solves. Vote NO.
