I'm am writing to urge you to vote against any appropriations bill for the Department of Homeland Security that fails to rein in ICE and Border Patrol and protect our communities. I'm sick of watching lawful people being arrested at their jobs, assaulted at peaceful protests, pulled from their cars, and shot and killed in the street. ICE agents must be investigated and prosecuted for their crimes and for acting outside of their jurisdiction. We must unmask these untrained, renegade, secret police now. We cannot allow fascism to destroy our democracy. Thanks for listening and please do the right thing. Your voters are watching, I promise.
