Life under Trump and Republican rule means the oligarchs got even richer while the rest of us struggle to even buy groceries. Republicans promised to lower grocery prices on Day One, yet here we are. New research by the Urban Institute found that more than a quarter of working-age adults who used a credit card for food did not pay off the full amount. Nearly 20% said they'd topped long-term savings for groceries. A third who used Buy Now Pay Later missed a payment iin the last year. This is not okay. Hold a town hall while you are on summer break to lay out your plan for helping those of us in the 99%.
