I’d like to share some words from Jim Wright with you. Not that you care, or will take his words and use them as reflection, but I’ll share anyway. Tariffs destroying American manufacturing, retail, and the AG sector. Destruction of research, established science, and proven medicine. Invasion, annexation, threatening war on multiple continents, destruction of alliances, deploying the army against Americans. Prosecution of his own appointees. bulldozing the White House. Fear. Paranoia. Violence. It's easy to get lost in the trees and not see the forest is on fire. When you look at Trump's actions AS A WHOLE, there's no plan, it's absolute chaos and utter madness. It's dementia. It is literally the clinical definition of insanity, i.e. a worldview completely detached from reality. Less Hitler in the bunker, confidently predicting Steiner's non-existent attack, more Elmer Fudd shouting BUT I AM NAPOLEON! We can all see it. ESPECIALLY Republicans. But, they are so determined to hold onto power, to get everything they can, to loot the country, and murder those they hate, that they're willing to destroy the entire world even if they die in the end. MAGA is a zero sum ideology, firmly convinced freedom, liberty, justice, and equality are all limited resources and if someone gets more THEY somehow get less. They feel this in their bones because they have been conditioned from birth to believe self worth, happiness, HUMANITY, are relative measures and life is a dick measuring contest. They'll squat in the dark of their bunkers, clutching their Bibles and their guns, and shit on their own shoes, just so long as no one else gets any light.
