Stop H.J. Res. 29 (IH)

To: Sen. McCormick, Rep. Perry, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Hummelstown, PA

January 24

I am writing due to a deep, DEEP concern about H.J. Res. 29 (IH) - Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to provide that no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times. The two term guideline in our constitution exists to ensure that no one person can exert too much influence over our country. The potential for harm to our democracy, and to our citizens, is too high to consider extending the number of terms a president can serve. Should this come to a vote, please vote against it. The infighting within our two-party politics is already holding our country hostage. The only saving grace is that no one president can cause too much harm by extending their time in power. Please do not allow this vital safeguard to be stripped away.
