According to the US Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war. Your power in the legislative branch keeps the country safe by preventing the United States from engaging in war on the whim of one man. We should not be engaging in a regime-change war with Iran. If the concern is nuclear weapons, we should have preserved the deal worked out more than ten years ago that prevented Iran from developing them. Stand up now for your own power, the safety of our troops, and the security of the United States by denouncing Trump’s illegal, unilateral war with Iran, demanding an immediate cessation of hostilities, and requiring the administration to come before Congress to explain this fundamental violation of the Constitution. If they refuse, impeachment is the only possible recourse, and you should immediately begin steps to impeach and remove this law-deriding administration.
