I urge you to publicly call for Secretary McMahon's resignation or removal from office. I also urge you to support legislation establishing standards of transparency, accuracy, and accountability for official government communications. Public office carries a responsibility to inform the public honestly. Americans deserve truthful information from those acting on behalf of their government, and every child deserves a high-quality public education free from politically motivated misinformation. Please stand up for your constituents by defending public education and holding public officials accountable for knowingly spreading false or misleading claims.
