Secretary McMahon's recent official social media post falsely claimed that educators are forcing students into sexualized conduct and exposing them to controlled substances used for gender transition. When government officials communicate in their official capacity, the public deserves truthful, evidence-based information, not inflammatory rhetoric designed to mislead or divide. I urge you to publicly call for Secretary McMahon's resignation or removal from office. I also urge you to support legislation establishing standards of transparency, accuracy, and accountability for official government communications. Public office carries a responsibility to inform the public honestly. Americans deserve truthful information from those acting on behalf of their government, and every child deserves a high-quality public education free from politically motivated misinformation. Please stand up for your constituents by defending public education and holding public officials accountable for knowingly spreading false or misleading claims.
