Stop the Unconstitutional Expansion of the Federal Surveillance State

To: Rep. Womack, Sen. Boozman, Sen. Cotton

From: A verified voter in Springdale, AR

January 14

I am writing as a constituent to demand an immediate halt to the unprecedented and dangerous expansion of ICE activity in Arkansas and across the country. The current $170 billion federal "slush fund" for immigration enforcement is a monumental act of fiscal recklessness and a direct threat to the Fourth Amendment. We are seeing the National Guard being used for domestic clerical policing and warrantless raids that disrupt our local communities. This is not "law and order"; this is the definition of "Big Government" overreach. As an Arkansan, I find it abhorrent that federal agencies are receiving blank checks to separate families and destabilize our local workforce while stripping basic due process from our neighbors. It is time to stop the militarization of our towns. I urge you to vote against further funding for these bloated federal programs and to demand an end to the 287(g) agreements that turn our local police into unpaid agents of a federal bureaucracy. We need a return to constitutional limits and the protection of the family unit, not a federally-funded surveillance state.
