Enforce the Epstein Files Transparency Act Now

To: Sen. Padilla, Rep. McClintock, Sen. Schiff

From: A constituent in El Dorado Hills, CA

April 26

Congress must force DOJ to release all of the Epstein files immediately and enforce the law. Todd Blanche announced on Fox News that the Epstein files "should not be a part of anything going forward." That is a direct refusal to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. DOJ is breaking the law, and Congress must act now to stop it. Approximately 2.5 million documents remain hidden. Released documents are heavily redacted to shield perpetrators. About 30 pages regarding allegations about Trump and a minor girl have not been released at all. There is no legitimate reason to protect pedophiles or obstruct justice. These crimes must be fully investigated and prosecuted. Todd Blanche's comments make it clear that DOJ is ignoring the law and dismissing the victims. This is unacceptable. Hold emergency hearings. Subpoena Blanche and every DOJ official involved. Use every enforcement mechanism Congress has to compel full disclosure. Virginia Giuffre and other survivors fought too hard for accountability to be dismissed now. The released files already show that powerful people in multiple countries were involved in or complicit in concealing an international child trafficking ring. Release all of the files and enforce the law now.
