I am a duty-of-care advocate. You and I have a duty of care for humanity’s freedom and human rights. I encourage you to publicly demand an international halt to AI superhuman intelligence, because it will kill us all. I encourage you to call for the State Legislature to do the same. I’m not an AI expert. Nevertheless, Bill Gates recently said, "AI is certainly powerful enough to drive events that cause a billion deaths." Experts at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute wrote a book titled If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies. Developing AI superhuman intelligence threatens our mutual freedom and human rights. It must be stopped. ‘Everyone” means you and me, Democrats and Republicans, all of us. We all have a duty of care to one another’s freedom and human rights. Sam Altman from Anthropic briefed the United Nations Security Council last week.  United Nations News reported a “Call to Action: Many speakers — including those from the industry — urged the adoption of measures to regulate the potential misuse of the technology, as well as to ensure transparency and safety as its development continues along its current blistering trajectory.” In response, the demented Grifter-in-Chief POTUS’s ambassador to the UN gave him a figurative middle finger. The Dumbass-in-Chief POTUS is trying to convince us that Sam Altman, Bill Gates, and 1400 other AI experts are all fools. Time is running out. Please demand an international halt to the development of superhuman AI. Silence betrays our shared duty of care to humanity’s freedom and human rights.
