The new version of the Senate’s “Big Beautiful Bill” contains the extension of the 2017 tax cuts for wealthy Americans and corporations, making those tax cuts permanent. The tax structure in the measure funnels wealth from the poorest Americans to the top 1%. You have said you were elected to support your constituents. I doubt many of your actual constituents are in the top 1%. I assume — I demand — that you vote against this bill that would harm so many of your constituents. This is your moment of truth, Senator McCormick. Have you been honest with us or not?
