I am writing to you today to express my outrage and disgust that you and other Democrats would condemn socialism. I challenge you to even define socialism. It isn't communism. We already have socialist programs in America that you support! Think about public schools, Medicare, Medicaid, libraries, even the postal service. Are you really going to condemn public education and social security? It really feels like you and the other Democrats who have signed this legislation have really missed the point, and honestly missed a great opportunity. Voters want help right now. We need stronger communities and social safety nets. Please, Representative Riley, educate yourself on what you're saying and then rescind your stance on this assinine measure. Thank you for your time.
