Following the shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, and the lack of accountability for her murderer, it is apparent ICE has essentially been granted permission to kill American citizens without the fear of facing consequences. ICE has become this Republican administration's personal militia, who do what the executive branch wants regardless of law, including assaults and killing of non-criminal US citizens. ICE is not a law enforcement agency. It is a rouge paramilitary crudely doing this Republican administration’s bidding. It is a threat to our communities and must reined in. These mercenaries are the Founding Fathers’ worst nightmare. You, as a member of Congress, have the ability to check ICE’s many excesses. Why are you and your colleagues silent when poorly-trained ICE ‘agents’ murder innocent Americans? My wife and I strongly urge you and your fellow members of Congress to do everything in your power to stop ICE’s assault on our fellow citizens. Stop ICE’s violence.
